CAPE CANAVERAL, FLORIDA, December 11, 2018 — Independent developer Firebrand Games has launched its masterful deep-space puzzle game Solar Flux for the Nintendo Switch. The news comes with a powerful new trailer highlighting the perilous journey the players face. Today the game launches on the Nintendo eShop for $9.99 USD, £7.79 GBP, or €8.69 EUR. Previously available on PC and Mobile devices, Solar Flux can now be purchased by fans of Nintendo’s versatile console.

The launch trailer showcases the hazards and mechanics of the game as well as its soothing synth soundtrack and gorgeous visuals. With nothing but their ship and their wits the player must contend against the very forces of the universe as they race to stabilize the heavens.

In Solar Flux players helm a deep-space mission to save dying stars across the universe by reigniting them with orbs of plasma. Hazards abound in this gargantuan task; from asteroids and comets, to laser grids, and even the stars themselves. Intrepid commanders will have to carefully plan their movement and ration their fuel to navigate the stars and save the universe. This trek will take players through 80 missions across four different galaxies and test their minds as well as their courage.
