Another poster for the Sonic the Hedgehog movie surfaces

Image credit also goes to MociMu

Oh man, I just don't get the direction they're taking for Sonic at ALL. I'm not usually one to nitpick stuff like this, but Sonic's design here is really rubbing me the wrong way. I'll still go see the movie and hold out hope that everything else will be enjoyable. So far though, the visual approach is not instilling a lot of confidence.

Thanks to to Andreslop24 for the heads up!

This will be the role that Jim Carey regrets taking when he reflects back on his life in a hospital bed the night before dying.

It’s not a good sign when they keep dodging how Sonic looks..

Why does his right leg look like it isn't attached to his body? They gave him human proportions but still kept him naked. And looking down his gross shoes is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen.

I'll still see the movie, but geez.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😅😅😅😅🤢🤢🤢🤢🤢 I’m blinded!!!

I feel they are going for that it's so bad it's good kinda of train wreck movie.

This is either going to be the worst thing ever or the best worst thing ever.

As it looks, this might actually become the best worst thing ever. I can't wait to see more now =)

This doesnt give any reassurance from the last image...in fact, this just enforces our fears from the first image.

For those not in the movie biz, this shot is something cinematographers call a "hedgehog groin shot". It's a camera angle they use when they want to show viewers what a city looks like from the point of view of a hedgehog's groin.

Amazing how fast this devolved from "probably bad" to "nightmare inducing"...

I'm not one to usually care that much or pass comment on this movie that often. But WTF is that? That indeed can't be real, surely? That is a dreadful poster.

Has anyone else noticed that the blue speed blur line in a way spells out "Sonic"? There's the "S" to the left of the bridge, then you've got "oni" on the bridge and "c" to the right of the Golden Gate Bridge. It may just be coincidental, but surely not. Further subliminal advertising?

I'm intrigued by the little glimpses we have seen so far. They have been careful not to really reveal Sonic completely yet. I think I may enjoy this movie. Maybe not because it is actually going to be a great movie but because it seems like it could be very bizarre and surreal. Of course I could end up hating it.

But I am willing to give it a chance (which is easy for me because I am not a big Sonic fan so I don't feel protective or concerned with the franchise). I understand the concern for Sonic fans though.

The director is apparently a die-hard Sonic fanboy, so I'm going to reserve judgment until I see the full design.

Why didn't they at least bother to give him socks? That's like the whole big part of the shoes silhouette.
