Want more proof that the Switch is absolutely killing it in Japan? Take a look at the top 10 best-selling games in Japan for 2018. 8 of them can only be found on Switch, and another one appears on Switch. That leaves just one game out of the top ten that you can't get on Switch.

I haven't been this satisfied with a console since my gamecube.

Sure, no one cares about the Wii U (I never had one to begin with) but you seem to have missed another non exclusive at number 10.

It's still a Nintendo platform, so the point still stands. The fraction of those sales that are for Wii U would be very small.

I agree. I love the Switch. Now if we could get Gamecube remasters on the console that would heaven Smile

I wonder if, rather than seeing a profitable and promising console, other developers look at that list and see a platform dominated by Nintendo-made titles... and it scares them off.

I'd hope at least some some of them would still give it a shot. I don't know any hard numbers, but I get the impression the Switch has been kind to indie developers at the very least.

And about half of these are ports of one kind or another.
