Well this is not good at all for Fortnite players on Switch. A glitch has been discovered that puts Switch players at a considerable disadvantage.

Turns out there's a glitch that causes 30fps players to do less damage than 60fps players. Tests have been done to showcase that players with the same weapons on 60fps can take out walls in a quicker amount of time than 30fps players. This is because of a 5.2% fire rate increase for 60fps players. The difference between destroying a wall with gunfire on 30fps versus 60fps works out to be1.44 seconds, which is pretty damn considerable!

The good news is that Epic is aware of the issue, and are working on fixing things up.

"We're aware of this issue and are investigating a fix. We'll update players as soon as we have more information."

Thanks to Sligeach_eire for the heads up!
