Splatoon 2's Version 4.4.0 should be coming soon

The next update for Splatoon 2 seems to be on the way. As you might know, Nintendo recently held another 'Off the Hook' real-life concert, and that event included some footage of Splatoon 2 itself. Turns out it's Nintendo themselves who accidentally confirmed an update incoming, as a very quick glance at the game's menu during the performance showed 'Version 4.4.0' in the upper right-hand corner. The currently-released version of Splatoon 2 sits at 4.3.1.
