Epic has no plans to update Fortnite for 60fps play on Switch, video capture not coming back either

Epic recently hosted a Reddit AMA for all things Fortnite, and they were inundated with questions pertaining to all platforms. When it came to Switch, the one question people asked most was about 60fps support. With Fortnite running at 30fps on Switch. could we ever see an update to 60fps? An Epic dev answered in a straightforward manner by saying, "I'm afraid that is not in the cards."

On top of that, it seems Epic won't be bringing back video capture to the Switch version of Fortnite either. Video capture was implemented at one point, but removed in a subsequent update. This was done in order to achieve better overall performance for the game on Switch. With that said, Epic mentioned that it's planning to introduce server-side replays sometime in the future.
