Fortnite Version 8.10 now combines Switch and mobile player pools
A change sure to rile up players
This is a tweak to Fortnite on Switch that is sure to make a number of fans quite upset. The info comes straight from this morning's patch notes, but it seems worthy of pointing out in its own post.
Combined Mobile and Switch pools.
- Before, Switch players were combined with Xbox One and PS4 cross-play parties.
- We expect an on-average better per-game experience for both Mobile and Switch players.
There was another change as well, with Xbox One and PS4 pools combined. I don't know about you, but I think specifically sticking Switch players with mobile is going to make for competition that's a lot less stiff. I guess we'll have to see how it plays out.
