Just a few weeks back, Koei Tecmo revealed Attack on Titan 2: Final Battle, an expanded version of Attack on Titan 2. Wondering why they decided to jam more content into the previous game, rather than make a sequel? According to a dev interview in this week's Famitsu, the team simply didn't have enough content to work with.

The team used content from Attack on Titan's third season, but this content alone wouldn't be enough for a new game, so they mashed it in with the previous title. This is reflected in Story Mode, as this time around, it does not feature an original protagonist. Also, those who played the previous game will be able to transfer their save data to Final Battle.
