Epic addresses allegations of Fortnite skin plagiarism

On the left in the image above is the Taro: Protector of the Wilds skin from Fortnite. On the right is a fan-made skin idea from Elecast, a Fortnite fan. Elecast's work was created roughly two months before Epic added their skin to the game. There are certainly a ton of similarities between the two designs. What did Epic have to say about the matter?
“We take these claims seriously and are in the process of investigating them.”
The company isn't ready to admit that the design was stolen, or at least influenced by Elecast's work. We'll let you know what the results of Epic's investigation are once they become available.
