GN Version 5.0

Nintendo revealed that Nintendo Labo's VR Kit was going to support both Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Those games will be getting free updates to make them compatible with Labo VR, and in the case of Mario, that new content is going to be fresh experiences in familiar Kingdoms. We now have a few more details on what that content will have you doing, courtesy of Nintendo's Japanese Twitter acount.

[Play in VR!] With the Nintendo Labo VR Kit releasing on 4/25, you can use the included VR Goggles to experience games in a new way.

“You can play through the ‘Cap Kingdom’, ‘Seaside Kingdom’ and ‘Luncheon Kingdom’ In each kingdom, you can gather various instruments by collecting notes scattered across each of the three kingdoms. And by doing so, you can start a live performance by giving the instruments to the performers. You’ll also get a chance to hear the lovely singing by the Lochlady.

“If you’ve got your performers with you, you’ll be able to watch a live performance at the concert hall in the ‘Metro Kingdom’ Please look forward to it! We hope you enjoy one of many interesting ways to Play in VR!”
