It seems that developers are, by and large, getting fed up with the extreme amount of work they have to take on at game studios. Multiple employees from various companies have been speaking out about their insane hours, and now the latest company of focus is Mortal Kombat studio, NetherRealm.

Numerous devs have taken to Twitter to talk about the crunch they experienced, leading to 80-100 hour work weeks, which usually includes weekends, all mixed in with little amounts of sleep. It seems the crunch discussion kicked off with comments from former NetherRealm dev James Longstreet, as his comments convinced other employees at the studio to not only corroborate, but share stories of their own as well.

NetherRealm is yet to share a comment on this matter, but one will most likely be released this week. We'll be sure to share that statement with you.
