Techland not bringing Dying Light 2 to Switch, but teases a 'surprise for Switch later this year'

In an interview with Comicbook, Techland talked about their work on Dying Light 2. Unfortunately, the game will not be coming to Switch, as the engine the game uses is not supported on Switch. That said, Techland seems to have something in the works for the platform.

"We are focusing on AAA content, but I can tell you that we might have a surprise for the Nintendo Switch later this year. I can’t tell you more."

Sounds like something we'll find out about come E3 2019. We'll keep our fingers crossed for more info then.

Thanks to Dondom95 for the heads up!

I swear if it is a port of vanilla Dying Light 1...

prepare to be disappointed.

What if I don't? What if I/we just wait it out? =)

the way it's phrased it almost sounds like whatever it is won't be AAA

So in other words while they make AAA titles for other platforms they will bring a non-AAA title to the Switch.

I'm happy as long as they put in effort. I'm never happy.
