Cat Quest moves over 400k units, sequel due out sometime in Sept. 2019
Far from a catastrophe
The Gentlebros. have struck gold with Cat Quest, which originally launches for Switch back in 2017. In a recent interview, the team reveals that the game has moved somewhere around 400k to 500k units across all platforms since launching. The Gentlebros. also said that the game continues to sell well to this day.
With such success for the first title, it's no wonder that they've been toiling away on a sequel for awhile now. While we don't have a concrete release date, The Gentle Bros. did share launch window info. As of right now, Cat Quest II is slated to hit sometime in Sept. 2019, although we don't know which platform it'll launch for first.
