Nintendo's Takashi Tezuka thinks overworld map creations and Super Mario Bros. 2 representation in Super Mario Maker 2 are good ideas

Game Informer did a rapid-fire interview with Nintendo's Takashi Tezuka on a number or topics, including Super Mario Maker 2. Mr. Tezuka was asked about the potential for overworld map creation in Super Mario Maker 2, to which he responded by saying it was a good idea. When asked if it's an included feature in the game, he simply answered by saying, "I wonder."

Tezuka was also asked about a Super Mario Bros. 2 theme in Super Mario Maker, to which he says he'd be happy to see that happen. Again, when asked if it was included, he responded by saying, "I don't know."
