June 19, 2019 Seoul - A Korean mobile game developer renowned for its quality action games, ActionSquare has launched Blade II: The Return of Evil on Nintendo Switch.

Blade II: The Return of Evil is now available on Nintendo eShop in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

Blade II: The Return of Evil is an action RPG, sequel of ‘Blade’, well known for its thrilling cinematic scenes and breathtaking action. Blade II: The Return of Evil shifts players into a story a century after ‘Blade’, about a journey of heroes searching for Archangel Ramiel to find a way to save the world from the evil.

Players can now enjoy the relentless action of Blade II: The Return of Evil on Nintendo Switch, just as they have experienced on mobile devices. Furthermore, players can now fully enjoy the dynamic action with more subtle control on console controllers. In addition, the user interface has made an improvement to adapt on console device.

ActionSquare also applied changes to game’s balance and removed microtransactions to optimize the gameplay experience on console platform.

Blade II: The Return of Evil is now available on Nintendo eShop in North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. The title will be released in Korea and Japan within this year.

HyunSeung Shin, PD of ActionSquare said ‘From the beginning of Blade II: The Return of Evil project, we focused on how the original action and cinematic scenes can be shifted from mobile onto console device’ He further stated ‘I believe the fans of ‘Blade’ as well as all action game fans will find exceptional thrill and fun on this console version’

As of now, Blade II: The Return of Evil has become the first Korean mobile game title, produced and published on Nintendo Switch.

The original title, ‘Blade’ collected innumerous fans for its breathtaking action and cinematic scenes. It also became the first mobile game to win Korean Games Award in 2014. The title introduces sophisticated, utter level action control such as tag-action and revenge system.

Blade II: The Return of Evil is now available, and is priced at $25. The title takes up 2.4 GB of space.
