Nintendo grabs trademarks for Dr. Mario and Wakuwaku! Monpoké Jima

Nintendo's trademark division continues to work their butts off, as they've filed for another pair of trademarks. First up is one for the Dr. Mario series. The trademark applies to Japan, and is reads as ドクマリ (literally “DocuMari”). This trademark applies to video game consoles, downloadable programs for home video game consoles, downloadable programs for smartphones, and more.
Next up is a trademark from Nintendo Co., Ltd., Creatures Inc., and Game Freak Co., Ltd.. The trio has filed for a わくわく！ もんぽけ島 (Wakuwaku! Monpoké Jima) trademark in Japan. The trademark applies to programs for home video game consoles and more.
