Nintendo has "no plans, or nothing to announce" about adding a d-pad to the Switch Joy-Con
Say it ain't so, Doug!
One of the best features of the Switch Lite has to be the inclusion of a traditional d-pad. The face buttons you'd find on a traditional left-handed Switch Joy-Con are gone, and a d-pad has been put in its place for Switch Lite. Surely that means the same is going to become an option for regular Switch Joy-Cons, right? According to a CNET interview with Doug Bowser, that's not the case.
"There are no plans, or nothing to announce, in terms of further variations of Joy-Con."
