Resident Evil Triple Pack announced for Switch, due out in North America on Oct. 29th, 2019

A three-pack of scares

Along with the release dates of Resident Evil 5 and 6, Capcom has revealed a special Resident Evil Triple Pack for Switch. This retail release will include Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6, with Resident Evil 4 on a cartridge and Resident Evil 5 and 6 included as a digital downloads. This package is priced at $59.99, and will be on-sale in North America on October 29th, 2019.

I wanted to compare that price to the combined prices of those games if purchased digitally. Resident Evil 4 is still a ridiculous $30. RE 5 and 6 don't have prices listed yet, but if they're also $30 each then you're actually getting a MUCH better deal to buy the physical game, which is weird.

And to be honest, I'd probably buy the three-pack. I prefer cartridges and the price actually seems fair for once. It's a pity we're not getting the motion controls, and that 5 and 6 are download codes, but at least the price is comparable to other game systems.

Another disgraceful "physical" by Capcom. Only 4 on cartridge, while 5&6 are digital download codes. The vast majority of their physical releases have been a joke.

I have RE5 Gold and Ps Move but would consider this IF motion was kept for 5 and added to 4. I’d like to retire RE4 Wii edition. The visuals are terrible on modern TVs. Sad

Crapcom gonna crap. Worthless "faux-physical" release as usual.
