The Witcher can be a very dark and brutal series, but it also has some light humor sprinkled throughout. That's something the Netflix adaptation is going to weave throughout as well. Actor Anya Chalotra is playing the part of Yennefer in the adaptation, and she recently discussed the show's approach to the darkness and humor.

"I think it is a serious show and I think it is dark and I think it's full of heart, but there are some hilarious characters in it. I mean, Dandelion. Not Dandelion, Jaskier. My God. Jaskier. Yeah, he's so hilarious and the relationship that he has with Geralt, but also Yennefer. Full of wit and she has some dark times but always manages to not take herself too seriously."
