Craig of the Creek episode pays tribute to Pokemon
It's super effective
Craig of the Creek aired an episode a couple weeks back called “The Evolution of Craig.” The episode may never mention Pokemon by name, but it's absolutely chock-full of references to the series. That includes nods to both the game and the anime. You can get a hint of the Pokemon themes from the snippet above, but make sure to check out the full episode on Cartoon Network's website.
