Mario Kart Tour's launch has bum-rushed the iOS Free Games charts, reaching #1 in less than 24 hours. That really wasn't unexpected, considering the popularity of the brand. The real surprise here is Super Mario Run, which has been bumped all the way up to #2! Were people accidentally downloading Super Mario Run thinking it was Mario Kart Tour? Did people not know that Super Mario Run was a thing, so when they saw it pop up in searches, they grabbed it? Whatever the case, Nintendo has to be quite happy about this surprising turn of events!
