Dear Reader:
Nintendo grabs two more Switch Joy-Con related patents
Nintendo is making the rounds with trademarks once again, and this time they've scooped up two trademarks for the Switch Joy-Con. The first trademark applies to a “Game controller set” that includes a main body device with display and attachable/detachable operation devices that can transmit operational data regardless of whether they are mounted on the body device. In other words, the action of the Joy-Con interacting with the Switch itself.
The second patent is for an “attachment and operation system” for easily removing a strap that's attachable to a game controller via the use of the attachment side slide part and the attachment side operation button. As you probably guessed, this is just a fancy way of discussing the Joy-Con shoulder strap.
