With Pokémon being the highest grossing media franchise in the world, it's no surprise that an exclusive pop-store in London would explode with popularity. While the store was set to open at 10am, the lucky ones arrived many hours before then. Over 3000 people lined up for the grand opening, and Westfield London had to end the queue nine hours before it's closing time at 10pm. Here is the official statement from Westfield London's Twitter account:

Queuing for entry to the Pokémon Center London is now closed for the day. There is a limit of sales on some items to ensure as many customers can enjoy the experience and the products available.

If you are travelling with a carer please make yourself known to a member of the security staff based at the entrance of the store and they will endeavour to grant you entry as soon as possible.

If you're looking to visit the store while it's open until November 15th, make sure you have a good backup plan, and prepare for some crazy lines.
