Nintendo's FY3/2020 Q2 investor briefing is currently going on, and we'll be keeping tabs on any details that are shared. Keep checking back on this post for new details.

- Switch Lite has generated unique demand, but has not impacted the rest of the Switch family
- Lite owners are 43% women, 57% men
- the Switch Lite is not a first gaming device for many users, and is shared among family members
- Nintendo is hoping to turn the Switch Lite into a first-time gaming device for users
- A Mario Kart Tour real-time multiplayer beta test is planned for December, available to Gold Pass subscribers
- Super Mario Maker 2 has seen 8 million courses built, which have been played more than 400 million times
- Fire Emblem: Three Houses has sold more than 50% of its current install base in the West
- Switch 1st party software totals for the first half of the fiscal year are +53% year over year
- From April-Sept, 1st party title sales was 63% older games, and 37% for new titles
- new Switch models boosted Switch sell through by 72% in Japan for Jul-Sep, 25% in NA, and 25% In EU
- Switch Online will continue enrich the value of Switch
- Ring Fit Adventure users are mainly in 20s and 30s, with many users being female
- Switch going strong, and Nintendo thinks there is a business opportunity to expand more, plans for theme parks, IP and beyond
- initial buyers of Switch LITE are core users, especially those who had played Zelda via portables before
- Nintendo thinks this will change as expand as time goes on
- customers like the convenience of downloads with some titles, and download-only titles are expanding
- Nintendo isn't thinking about rebooting old titles for Switch Lite, but rather what titles are suitable
- Switch v Switch Lite profits have no difference in OPM, but given the lower price, the absolute amount is less for LITE
- Tencent making preparations for Switch release in China, and they will announce details later
- Nintendo believes Mario Kart Tour will surpass Super Mario Run's 300 million downloads
- pricing strategy for Switch is to keep things appropriate and not come up with discounts, as they want a longer hardware lifespan/profitability
