Mario Kart Wii shifts another 40k units in the last 6 months

Talk about a long-tail seller!

Mario Kart Wii really is unstoppable. Somehow, some way, people are still finding new units of the game to buy out in the wild. Believe it or not, in the last 6 months alone, Nintendo has managed to sell another 40k units of the game. That pushes the worldwide sales total from 37.20 million copies to 37.24 million.

This is the first multiplayer game I ever played! I've played it with more different people than I could count.

I regard this as the absolute worst version of Mario Kart, thanks to the unforgiving rubber-banding and all the items design to disrupt a person in first place.

It is the least fun of the modern ones, but I'd still place it above Super and 64. They have not aged well.

Great games never get old.
