Netflix's Witcher executive producer teases major changes for the show's first episode

I think everyone expects Netflix's Witcher series to depart a bit from the books and games. That's usually how adaptations go. Apparently we're going to see some of that right off the bat in the first episode. In an interview with Antyweb, Executive Producer Tomek Baginski teased changes fans of the series will see.

"After the first episode, many viewers will think ‘that didn’t happen in the books’ or ‘that’s not how this scene went’. They will ask ‘why was it done this way?’ and I suggest watching until the end, then it will be obvious that everything fits The Witcher‘s tone very well."
