Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back writer to receive Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously
A well-deserved win
The Tokyo Anime Award Festival 2020 has revealed their lineup of Lifetime Achievement Award winners for this year's event, and among them is Takeshi Shudo. Shudo the screenwriter on the original Pokemon movie, Mewtwo Strikes Back. He also worked quite a bit on the Pokemon anime as well. Shudo is being recognized for his work posthumously, as he passed away back in 2010.
