Now that the first season of The Witcher is out on Netflix, the actors behind the roles can open up a lot more about them. In an interview with Comicbook.com, Joey Batey goes into more detail about his work as Jaskier, which he seemed to be quite fond of.

"Playing Jaskier is, without doubt, the favorite role I've ever played, I think. In the books, he's way more complex than I think is immediately noticeable. He has a depth to him, and a profound understanding of humanity, and insight of how people work. He understands the cultural makeup of the world around him and the power of storytelling. And at the same time, you've got all of that really good meaty stuff that actors like, and then I also get to basically be an idiot and play the lute. So, I mean, what's not to love?"

In a separate Comicbook.com interview, Anya Chalotra talks a bit about filming the iconic bathtub scene with Henry Cavill.

"It's such an iconic moment, and I'm glad that we both got to bring it to light, and I hope it has everything that the fans want in it. I think Yennefer being there, and them having that back and forth, the way they communicate in that tub, I think it's such a key, in that tub. It's so right, it's such a lovely moment for them for the fans to see what their relationship is like, especially at the beginning of their relationship."
