ACE Research Institute analyst Hideki Yasuda has taken a step that we don't usually see from analysts. He is offering up an apology on analysis that he now feels missed the mark.

Yasuda, upon seeing the launch week sales of Ring Fit Adventure, said the title could end up being a failure. As most Nintendo fans know, their efforts in unique areas of gaming can sometimes be a slow burn, and take time to find an audience. That has been the case with Ring Fit Adventure, which has been showing quite a long-tail, and has even experienced depleted stock in some regions.

Yasuda has stated that his original analysis of Ring Fit Adventure missed the mark. He said his judgment was simply "too premature," as well as a "mistake." Seeing how he made an error in his initial remarks, Yasuda felt it was only proper to offer up an apology.
