Splatoon 2 was set to be updated to Version 5.1.0 on Jan. 8th, 2020, but it looks like Nintendo jumped the gun a bit. The update is live right now, so fire up your Switch and the update should auto-download. We've already shared the full patch notes for this update, which you can find here.
