Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, which released on Switch some time ago, is getting a brand-new anime adaptation. The teaser trailer for that project has been shared above, features the work of a brand new character designer in Akio Watanabe. Watanabe's previous work includes character designs for Nurse Witch Komugi, Monogatari Series, Grisaia Series, and part of the Pretty Rhythm franchise. The anime itself is being produced by Infinite and Studio Passione. No word yet on when this new adaptation will release.
