New European trademark for the GameCube game "Mr. Driller: Drill Land" surfaces

It definitely seems like Bandai Namco has something in the works for Mr. Driller. The company has grabbed a new trademark for Mr. Driller: Drill Land, which is a GameCube game that released in Japan back in 2002, but never saw localization. This goes hand-in-hand with another recent trademark for Mr. Driller Encore, which Bandai Namco snagged in Sept. 2019 for Japan.

We're not quite sure what all this amounts to, other than plans to bring Mr. Driller back in some way. There's no doubt if Mr. Driller comes back, he'll make his way to Switch. We'll keep tabs on this to see what else pops up!

Thanks to OperationGamer17 for the heads up!
