Nintendo ending Nintendo Zone and 3DS Station support in Japan on Feb. 28th, 2020

While the public has known it for awhile, it's clear Nintendo is finally winding things down with the 3DS. The company has announced that services for Nintendo Zone and 3DS Stations will be stopped on February 28th, 2020. 3DS Station terminals will be removed as of this date. Once the services end, users can still connect a 3DS to the internet at select wireless access points available at Pokémon Centers and game stores.
