Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that Switch hardware and accessories were going to be somewhat limited in Japan due to issues with the production line in China. The issues stem from the Coronavirus outbreak, which is obviously making it difficult for numerous companies to continue operations as usual.

Many wondered if this situation would impact hardware/accessories in North America and Europe. Kotaku has obtained a statement from Nintendo, and it says that all should continue as normal in both regions.

We can confirm that the manufacturing of some Nintendo products for the Japanese market has been delayed due to the impact of 2019-nCoV coronavirus outbreak. Nintendo does not anticipate a significant impact on our broader global supply chain for systems and accessories at this time, and product sales in North America and Europe, including preorders, are not affected. We would like to express our concern and support for all those affected by the coronavirus during this challenging time.
