The official SpongeBob Twitter account takes a jab at Sonic's movie redesign fiasco

With the Sonic movie coming out later this week, the official SpongeBob Twitter account decided to go for one last laugh about Sonic's initial design for the film. We're not sure if this is a bit of smart promotion for the movie, or just the Twitter account hopping on trending topics, but the end result is the image above.
While the above 'realistic' SpongeBob is certainly a bit jarring, I don't think he holds a candle to Sonic's first movie design. That was a special kind of horror!
