Dear Reader:
Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo devs share a status update, game supports TATE mode
Hanaji Games has given a progress update on Mecha Ritz: Steel Rondo, and things appear to be going really well. The game is now fully playable on Switch, but there are some bugs to work out. That shouldn't cause any problems, as the plans it launch the game sometime in April 2020.
Mecha Ritz features 15 handcrafted stages, 40 unique bosses, 12 playable mechas, branching paths, multiple endings, and 36 original FM synthesizer-based tracks. We also have a confirmation of TATE mode, which you can see in action below.
#MechaRitz for Switch has also been worked on concurrently at the same time. Fully playable from start to finish, but there’s a few small issues here and there, like stretching and QoL things we’d like to fix. Also learned a lot about CERO from Dezatopia. ETA we’ll try for April. pic.twitter.com/RD0ncL4OI9
