Blizzard cancels Overwatch League matches in South Korea due to coronavirus concerns

Better to be safe than sorry

The coronavirus is having a huge impact on many businesses, and that includes the world of video games. Numerous devs and pubs have suffered from game delays, or announced plans to skip events due to the coronavirus. Blizzard is the latest to announce a change to plans due to the outbreak.

Overwatch League matches schedule to take place in South Korea between Feb. 29th and March 22nd, 2020 have been canceled “in order to protect the health & safety of our players, fans, & staff.” Blizzard is going to reschedule these events, but aren't sharing word on where and when until a later date.

If everybody has it already why not just business as usual. I know it's probably wrong of me to have such a conspiracy theory but when's the last time we heard of the Hong Kong protests since the outbreak.
