From Bob-Omb to Cult Classic
Nintendo may be working on a brand-new Mario movie with Illumination, but some people aren't ready to move on from the original Super Mario Bros. movie.
The team behind the Super Mario Bros. Movie Archive have announced that they're going to create a documentary called Pipe Dream, which aims to chronicle the film's creation, reception, and eventual cult classic status. In order to make this Pipe Dream a a reality, the team will be opening an IndieGoGo campaign on May 28th, 2020. We'll be sure to share that with you once it goes live.
