Nintendo says large industry events "may be untenable for the foreseeable future" due to coronavirus, looking a new ways to engage with fans

Earlier yesterday, Nintendo said they backed the ESA's decision to call off E3 2020. Since they shared that statement, a second blurb from Nintendo has made the rounds. In this comment, Nintendo talks about their plans for spreading game information and big industry events in the near future.

"We"ll continue to be flexible and redirect our efforts to other ways of keeping our fans up to date about our activities and products. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, large industry events may be untenable for the foreseeable future. But we are considering various ways to engage with our fans and will have more to share as the year continues."
