Not too many people recognize the name Jason Paige, but they sure as heck know the original theme song to the Pokemon anime. There are millions of people who don't follow Pokemon anymore, but they can still belt out every word to that song. That's in no small part to Paige's amazing performance on the song.

All these years later, Paige is still making appearances and connections through that song. In an interview with USGamer, Paige talks about how he is still able to walk about mostly unrecognized, but once he reveals himself as the man behind the tune, a rush of love heads his way.

"It is extremely humbling. As a performer I'm always in pursuit of transformational experiences, and transforming people. That's not very common in recorded performance. It's almost as if this feeling was in them, and they didn't know that there was a human being at the other end of it. I can walk around a convention and nobody knows who I am, until they see the sign that reads, 'Pokemon Original Singer.' They look at that and they're like, 'Oh my god, that's right! There's a person that sings it! That's you?' It's like a surprise. The best friend that you've never met before. There he is, right in front of you. It's a very unique experience."
