A married couple's anniversary plans were cancelled due to coronavirus, so they recreated their wedding photos in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Over the last couple of weeks, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has been the go-to destination when real-life events are called off. One couple hosted a surprise wedding in-game, and a mother threw a surprise birthday party for her daughter via New Horizons as well. Today we have a married couple that decided to pay tribute to their anniversary with some Animal Crossing flair.

This couple originally had plans for a night out to celebrate their anniversary, but those ended up getting called off due to coronavirus concerns. Since the two are stuck indoors, they figured why not relive the day they got married? They got out their old wedding photos and got to work on recreating them in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

As you can see in the GIF above, the two pretty much nailed everything about their real-life photos. The outfits they put together are stellar, and thanks to a trip to Harvey's island, they were able to take the perfect shot. Let's hope even when these two can travel to celebrate their next anniversary, they keep the Animal Crossing tradition up as well!
