Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto famously said that "a delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." That mantra seems to be at the core of how Nintendo creates games, and they're not afraid to give titles the time they need to shine.

In an interview with Bloomberg, an anonymous Nintendo programmer said that Nintendo really does give developers time to nurture their projects. Apparently the Big N has no problem giving devs as much time as they want in order to hit the quality they're going for.

We've certainly seen a number of Nintendo titles delayed in the past, but they almost always end up wowing with their quality when they release. If a few extra months gives us a better experience overall, I'm more than okay with that.
