Bandai Namco US claims Digimon Survive is still on-track for 2020 release
Now I'm confused...
Yesterday, we had news on the status of Digimon Survive, and it wasn't good. Apparently the game was going through a complete development overhaul, and the release date had been moved to TBA. This information came from Famitsu, but apparently Bandai Namco US feels differently.
A Bandai Namco US rep has said that the game is still on for a 2020 release, and that the "TBA" release date listed by Famitsu was a typo. That explains the release date shift, but it doesn't explain the details of a development team overhaul. Seems like there's still a bit more info to dig up here.
