Cross-play on the way to Dead by Daylight

A major update is coming to Dead by Daylight later this year. The developers have confirmed that they're working on cross-play for the title, and it's set to hit Switch, Xbox One, PS4, and PC later this year. This addition will allow players to search through their friends and strangers across all platforms, letting you play Surviving With Friends mode and private matches.
The dev team also said they're looking into cross-progression, although they haven't officially committed to the idea. It's something they'd like to do, but aren't sure how feasible it is yet.
