The character of Seth unfortunately has a bittersweet backstory. Seth was created by Hollow Knight fan Big_boi878, a young man who was struggling with Ewing sarcoma, a form of cancer. Big_boi878, whose real name is Seth, had a chance to talk to Team Cherry and share the character he had created. Team Cherry put the character in Hollow Knight: Silksong as a tribute.
