Koei Tecmo officially announced Monster Rancher 2 for Switch earlier this week, and now they're looking for some help from fans.

In the original Monster Rancher, monsters that are 'born' were decided via the game’s database of monsters. This database was fueled by actual CDs, which you would actually put into your Playstation to have them scanned. You obviously can't do that with the Switch, so things were changed up a bit.

In Monster Rancher on Switch, users were able to enter keywords like CD titles or artists to generate a monster. This in-game CD database had over 500k monsters that could be generated. Now Koei Tecmo is looking to expand that database even more.

Koei Tecmo has taken to Twitter to ask fans what CDs should be added to Monster Rancher 2's database. They're also looking for suggestions on what monsters should be added to the game. You can see the campaign details (in Japanese) here.
