Monster Hunter movie director says the film's monsters look better than the dinosaurs in Jurassic World

You bet Jurassic!

The monsters of Monster Hunter certainly have a lot in common with dinosaurs, but they're different as well. According to an Empire interview with Monster Hunter movie director Paul W.S. Anderson, the dinos of Jurassic World can't hold a candle to what Monster Hunter will offer up.

"All our monsters are 50-60 feet tall. They're really amazing. We're building them in even more detail than the dinosaurs of Jurassic World. And they look even better, because we shot on real locations in South Africa and Namibia, which gives the animators something to really match into: real wind, real dust, real sun-flare. The monsters are the only CG thing in there."

Yeah, let's see. . . . I really hope those words are true.

Considering this guy made a PG-13 Mortal Kombat movie and an almost R-rated Alien knockoff, I'd prepare for disappointment. Is it too late to mention his wife stars in the movie too? That was the case with the Resident Evil movies too, though he only directed a couple of them.

This movie looks terrible in every possible way and having pretty monsters won't change that.
