GN Version 5.0

Well here's an announcement I don't think anyone saw coming. Netflix has announced a partnership with Capcom to create a Dragon's Dogma anime series. The series was announced via Netflix's NX Twitter account, and they say it'll launch on Sept. 17th, 2020. The only piece of art released for the series is the poster above. Hopefully we'll see a trailer in the near future.

UPDATE - New details have come in, including a story synopsis, stills, and more.

Story

The Dragon that suddenly appeared after over 100 years burned the village of Cassardis to ashes. Ethan confronted the dragon to protect his beloved family, but the Dragon took his heart. Although he appeared to have died, Ethan was resurrected as an “Arisen.” Alongside Hannah, a Pawn under Ethan’s command who suddenly appeared, he will set out on a journey to regain his heart.

During his journey, Ethan will battle monsters that represent the seven deadly sins, but does not yet have any way of knowing that for each monster he defeats, his humanity will fade little by little…
