PR - Castle of Heart physical copies will start shipping on September 16

First Press Games just announced that the physical version of Castle of Heart is almost ready for shipping and confirmed a final release date.

The Switch-exclusive Action-Platformer in "Ghouls N' Vania"-style, developed by 7LEVELS is brought to the platform as an fully localized Japanese and English Regular Edition. The release date has been confirmed to be Wednesday, 16th September 2020. There will also follow a Collector´s Edition in the course of October 2020.

First Press Games’ third release for the Nintendo Switch is sticking to the highest standards of physical game releases. This includes a detailed In-Depth Manual and a beautifully designed Packaging.
About the game
In Castle of Heart the player takes the role of a town’s knight, possessed by a stone-curse from an evil sorcerer. He sets out to reverse the curse and save the woman he loves. But the journey to his loved one is littered with the sorcerers’ minions, threatening bosses, puzzles and deadly traps.

The initial digital release of Castle of Heart in March 2018 did not convince the critics, which resulted in a Metascore of 53. But after a major update, which delivered smooth controls, an easy-mode and a tutorial, it was able to turn impressions around and the game became popular with the players as well as critics in later reviews.

The release date for Castle of Heart Regular Edition is set for Wednesday, 16th of September 2020. The game is already available for pre-order on First Press Games website.

Special note: The physical release version of Castle of Heart exclusively features optional D-Pad Controls, which were added to the game by 7LEVELS on First Press Games' request (the digital version only uses the analog stick.)
