Nintendo hosting "Management Briefing Session" on Sept. 16th, 2020, no new products/services to be revealed

Nintendo has announced that they'll be hosting a 'Management Briefing Session' on Sept. 16th, 2020 in Tokyo. It seems this will be a standard business briefing, and Nintendo has stated that the session will not include reveals of new products or services.

While there's absolutely no indication that we should expect some other exciting news in/around that date, fans and insiders alike are already speculating. David Gibson, Co-Founder of Astris Advisory Japan KK, shared his hopes for a Nintendo Direct before that date. Others pointed out that this event is just 3 days after Mario's 35th anniversary, which gives some hope that Nintendo will reveal something before the briefing.

Just remember, the only thing we know for sure is that there is an Indie World presentation tomorrow, and more Partner Showcases down the road. Anything outside of that is pure speculation.
